Naked while dressed up!

as I enter the government building,

I got stopped by security officer "excuse me sir!",

"Yes" I reply,

"where you going?" he askes

"I have some document I'm following was sent from Dammam Office." I said,

"sir! we can't help you you have to wear Thoub "national dress""

I said "I Came from Dammam, I have been driving for three hours and half"

"sorry sir it's the rules!"

"I said it's only matter of minutes, one question with one answer"

"You have to wear thoub, I can't let you in"

I said "I do have a thoub, it's in a bag in my car, do you want me to change in the street???!!!"

"........." said the officer

RULES!!!!!

so I went back to my car,

that is parked on the main street,

got my bag out.

got down to my underwear,

people looking while passing by,

but they seem not too surprised

I think it's normal in Riyadh to see people change in the street

I went back in, as soon i got in he told me 1st floor, went up, was done in 2 minutes.

so what kind of rule is that,

If i was wearing PJ's i would understand!

If i was wearing my underwear I would understand!

but I was wearing pants, a shirt, and a good jaket, and I looked good!

the funny thing it applies on Saudi's,

I noticed that the government just like to make it hard on US!

it just don't make sense at all to me at least

will now i know how it feels to be an exhibitionist ^.^

sex and the city!

I tried my best not to talk about sex in any of my blogs in the past.

but something changed, thanks to HER!

and there are more to come ^.^

since I think that the society dectat it's treadtion based on sex.

male and female that is!

here, Saudi could be the gay capital of the world due to the fact of sex segregation.

once, a gay friend of mine who is not Saudi told me, Saudi for a gay man, is like a small kid in a candy store.

since it's okay for guys to hang around each others and girls do that too.

it's hard to hang around in mix groups.

I myself have some issues if i have to go pick up my own sister from Uni, i could be stopped and I need to prove to them that she is my sister.

even my own mom, I can't prove she is my mom, only thing we have is her divorce paper since my dads name is there and it matches mine. we need that when we travel and need to stay in hotel room.

few days back a man and a woman where stopped and man beaten just to find out later that the woman was his wife! yeah it does happen here. man killed his own daughter, to find out the boy who was cached with her was her brother! yes his own son!

definition of catch here is, in a car, in a mall, walking together. Not in act of adultery!

the truth of the matter there are many gay activites here, but are not really gay.

it's just sexual needs to be fulfilled.

there are some gay but not huge number.

I'm happy for them the got it easy ;)

unless they get caught! then it's death! "they have to be caught in the act"

I wouldn't say that the main reason of this actions are segregation of the sexes,

but mainly it is,

here to get married here you need money and lots of it.

i'm not suggesting mixing the sexes as a solution or maybe I am,

but I wish it would be easier to get married for people.

people asking a lot of things just for show.

what I'm babbling about here!

just a thought that crossed my mind, and felt like sharing!

No more Coke or Pepsi for me

I know this might comes as a shock to some people who know me.

But yes, no more Coke or Pepsi for me...I have had it!

the bad news is I'm stopping not because of health!

but because of economic reasons!

since Coke and Pepsi decided to rise their prices 50%, I had to quit!

I used to drink at least 8 Coke a day, some time more, some times less but 8 is an average.

I feel betrayed and hurt by this, and for what ever reason they say they had to do it, I think it's a big fat lie.

FACT ALERT!!! it's not only Coke and Pepsi!

everything here "in Saudi" would simply rise in price,

and the consumer is THE LAST person to know,

the shops,supermarkets and stores "and most told me in person" take it or leave it! the Coke and Pepsi company said to the shops.

this has to stop, a free market with such greed from manufactures and business is just not right.

and thats only what the consumer know about!!!!

since Coke and Pepsi price known to every man, woman and child..

there is another hidden rise of price in items that we buy on month to month or more, such Shampoo, toothpaste and such products that prices rise and WE don't even notice it!

so the business strategy of these company is that the Saudi consumer is a dummy!!! he will never know what hit him.

what is government doing to sort this mess, to protact the consumer????

I know the government have departments that deal with such matters,

chamber of commerce" that is run by business people WHO own company/companies that RAISED prices",

Ministry of Commerce "I think they exist" but i'm not so sure about anything being done!

I have been hearing about an organization that is protecting the consumer, and it's out there, but not so sure about their actions yet.

we need a NON-profitable organization to Ensure that the Companies don't scam the consumer.

we need transparency, to Ensure quality of products!

or

do what I do....

when you see the price is not right, don't buy it!

you can complain, "btw when you find where, let me know ^.^ "

find another solution!

Orange juice is cheaper now,

and HEALTHIER too,

lol never thought I would say that, in my life time! ^.^

Fresh Start!

so here we are,

been reading a lot of blogs, some are way cool, some are okay and some where the hell is the Escape button ^.^

a new blog page for more serious topics,

here I'll be talking about ME! how original!!!! I KNOW!

well it's about me, a Saudi living in Saudi.

some of the blogs been reading give people and idea about Saudi but it's not all the truth! i don't say they lie, but i guess they don't have the INSIDER! cool huh! i'll be giving our secrets out...

I must note that what you will read is all me, it's what I think, what I see and most of all what I believe....

topics will be political and I will try to avoid that, a lot of social topics, and anything that cross my mind "it's my blog after all" or read in a newspaper ^.^

but it will be all around Saudi, out and about.

I would also like to know from you "THE PEOPLE" would you like to know? or should I say what the next topic should be about?
